This site keeps things simple, and that goes for privacy too. Here's exactly what happens with your information when you visit boomerrangerron.com — written in plain English, the way Ron would tell you around a campfire.
What we collect
Newsletter signups. If you join the Ranger Report, we keep the name and email address you give us — that's it. It's used only to send you the newsletter, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Contact messages. If you write to Ron through the contact form or by email, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. Nothing else is done with them.
Visit statistics. This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and which videos and gear folks find useful. Analytics data is aggregate and anonymous to us — we see numbers, not names. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.
Cookies & embedded content
Pages with embedded YouTube videos may set cookies from YouTube/Google when you play them — that's how YouTube remembers your playback preferences. Google Analytics also uses cookies to count visits. This site sets no other cookies of its own.
Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate, Boomer Ranger Ron earns from qualifying purchases. When you buy through a gear link, Amazon pays the channel a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may use cookies to attribute the sale; their handling of your purchase data is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.
What we never do
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone outside the services named above. No spam, no list-swapping, no funny business — hunter's word.
Kids
This site is written for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Want your email removed from the newsletter list, or a message you sent deleted? Email BoomerRangerRon@gmail.com and it's done.
Accessibility (ADA) commitment
Ron wants every hunter — including folks using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or larger text — to be able to use this site comfortably. It's built with that in mind: large readable type, strong color contrast, keyboard-friendly navigation, descriptive text on images, and reduced animation for visitors who prefer it.
If anything on this site is hard for you to use, please tell us at BoomerRangerRon@gmail.com — we'll fix it. Accessibility is a trail we keep walking, not a box we check once.
Changes to this page
If our practices change — say, a new newsletter tool or analytics setup — this page gets updated and the effective date above moves with it.
